Terms of service

ARGENT generates images and short video from written prompts. Generation is currently in private beta and is not available on all accounts. Everything we say about it here applies from the point your account has access.

We do not promise a specific output for a specific prompt. Generative systems are not deterministic and the result of a prompt may change as models are updated.

One person or organisation per account. Keep access to your email address secure — it is how we sign you in, so whoever controls it controls the account. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has access.

Creating an account is free and adds 30 tokens to it. We ask for no payment method to do so.

You own the output you generate. Every plan, including the free account, carries a worldwide commercial licence covering reproduction, modification and resale, including client work.

We claim no ownership of your output and will not use it to promote ARGENT without asking you first. Your prompts remain yours. On Studio and Atelier, generations are private by default.

Plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, in US dollars. A monthly token allowance resets on your billing date and does not carry over. Tokens bought in a pack do not expire and are spent only after the allowance is used.

You can cancel at any time from your account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for; we do not charge a fee to leave and we do not cut access off early. Moving to a larger plan takes effect immediately, pro-rated.

If we fail to deliver a paid service for a sustained period, contact us and we will refund the affected period.

The content policy is part of these terms. Breaking it can cost you your account. We may also suspend an account to stop abuse, fraud, or activity that threatens the service for other people.

The service is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for lost profits or lost data.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death, personal injury, or fraud.

We will give at least 30 days notice by email before a change that materially reduces what you get. Continuing to use the service after that is acceptance. Questions about these terms go to legal@argent.example.
